Job Description
Job purpose
The academic programs and project coordinator facilitates work focused on student success, in
collaboration with units across divisions of the university. The Project Coordinator will provide support to
the Head of Academic Strategy and Deans, acting as an essential liaison point to ensure successful delivery
of a wide range of project initiatives and priorities led and supported by the Academic team. Alongside
general administrative support for group and individual projects, the role will lead on project coordination,
providing expertise on all matters relating to project planning, reporting, administration, scheduling,
communication and implementation.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative support (documentation, tracking etc.) for all academic projects;
Handle all communication with students, regarding policies, deadlines and all other relevant information concerning student projects;
Provide Academic advising & support to students on projects
Manage all correspondence concerning all academic project activitie
Coordinate the activities of ACITY academic research & projects.
Schedule Project presentations
Manage and oversee processes related to the development and ongoing revisions of academic
related initiatives.
Contribute to institutional change related to student success by supporting continuous
improvement action planning, assessment, and modifications.
Conduct research and summarize data to inform decision making, evaluate program effectiveness or alternatives, and to inform program development.
Coordinate integration of projects and track workflow to monitor progress.
Monitor student data dashboards and compile reports related to student success and provide timely reports on status on student projects.
Establish timelines and communications with appropriate academic units and coordinate logistics.
Review and resolve complex issues and concerns related to student academic-related issues.
Act as point of contact and liaise with stakeholders, business partners and others, as appropriate, providing a high level of support
Carry out any other administrative support tasks as required.

Education and Experience requirement
Bachelor’s degree required but Masters will be a plus
2-5 years of experience
Working knowledge of project management software
Experience and interest in internal and external communications, partnership development, and
connections
Proficient in Gmail (Google Forms, Google Drive, Word, Excel, and Power Point), Adobe Acrobat,
and Social Media web platforms.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills
Attention to detail
