The individual will be responsible for assisting the Card Operations Manager by providing support for the total Cards Operations infrastructure for both FNB Issuer and acquiring systems and local interbank links as well as international links and external switches.
In addition, this individual will provide operational support to the Front, Middle office and Branches to reduce operational risk and improve operational controls and efficiency in the area

Are You Someone Who Can
Resolve all customer issues or queries efficiently, and within agreed timelines.
Responsible for managing of settlement and reconciliation of Visa issuing and acquiring (POS and ATM) transactions.
Responsible for managing issuing and acquiring settlement GHipss products (Gh-link and ezwich cards)
Responsible for managing master card acquiring settlement and reconciliation.
GL, Suspense accounts and Nostro account management. Assisting with reconciliation and matching of card entries in card GL’s and Suspense Accounts
Reconciliation of Outgoing and incoming schemes files and raising of P&L vouchers to clear the cards GL’s
Investigate all items defaulting into the exceptions report and ensuring that they are reversed within the TAT timelines.
Responsible for reporting and managing card business profitability and reporting on all card’s product usage.
Responsible for managing scheme’s monthly fees, QOC, Fee collections and funds disbursement activities.
Oversee our monthly authorization rates score on Visa online and proactively act on the rates.
Comply with governance in terms of legislative and audit requirements.
Prepare and submit reports relating to activities in area under control for management decision making.
Manage own development to increase own competencies.

Have relevant degree
Have 2 – 3 years relevant experience in card products and card operations, card payment procedures and general banking operations
