NAYA Naturals Limited (NAYA by Africa) seeks a personable, customer-friendly, Retail Sales & Customer Service Associate responsible for managing day-to-day activities in the NAYA Shop and representing the brand at various marketing events. You will drive sales by assisting, engaging, and educating customers about the brand and its products. We are looking for go-getters with an aptitude for persuasive communication, great interpersonal skills, and a drive to succeed.

This role is great for someone who loves Sales and Marketing of products, is organized, responsible, and has great communication and customer service skills. Prior experience in retail management is a plus.

Sales Associate Duties and Responsibilities

• Managing customer orders and deliveries
• Cleaning and organizing the shop daily.
• Managing customer requests, complaints and feedback and reporting to management
• Providing education and product recommendations to customers about skincare and NAYA products to help them choose the right products
• Ensuring that merchandise is in-stock and displayed on shelves.
• Using the point of sale (POS) system to conduct purchase transactions.
• Promoting and selling products and representing the brand at various marketing events
• Team up with co-workers to plan in-shop marketing activities to improve sales and customer experience.
• Making and wrapping gift packages for customers
• Assisting in product inventory management procedures
• Learn product information to cross-sell and upsell products to customers.
• Memorize in-store promotions and special offers to communicate to customers.
• Make suggestions on ways to improve sales and boost revenue.

Sales Associate Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum education HND, Bachelor’s degree in any field, or 5 years work experience with a high school degree.
• Strong customer engagement and communication skills
• Basic math skills
• Friendly, approachable personality
• Punctuality
• Ability to perform and sell under pressure
• Available to work weekends and/or holidays
• Available to work between 8am and 8pm
