Job Description

Our international client provides an e-commerce platform focused on offering handcrafted, sustainable products sourced from young adult artisans around the world requires a Project Assistant. Reporting to the CEO/Project Manager will manage specific projects related to artisan relationships, product preparation, and storytelling content for our e-commerce platform.

Responsibilities;

Collaborate with designated artisans to oversee the creation of specific product collections, ensuring they meet agreed-upon quality standards and deadlines.
Maintain communication with artisans to address project-related queries and provide support as needed.
Visit artisans’ workshops to capture photography, video and gather narratives that will be used to enhance product listings and marketing materials.
Deliver a complete package of content for each artisan, including photos and video stories, by the agreed project deadlines.
Coordinate the preparation and packaging of products for specific shipments, ensuring all items are ready for transport to our warehouse.
Manage the logistics for these shipments, working with selected shipping providers to ensure timely delivery.
Plan and execute a series of workshops aimed at providing artisans with essential entrepreneurial resources and skills, including marketing, business management, sales strategies, and leadership development.
Manage logistics, materials, and coordination with guest speakers who are experts in these fields.
Provide a report on each workshop, including outcomes, feedback from participants, and recommendations for future workshops.

Requirements

Must have at least a Higher National Diploma (HND) in related fields in project management.
Proven experience in project management, particularly in logistics, content creation, or artisan engagement.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet project deadlines.
Proficiency with report writing.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Photography and storytelling skills are highly desirable.
Good communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
