Job Overview:
Dikan Restaurant is seeking an experienced and dedicated Restaurant Manager to lead the setup and daily operations of our new dining establishment in Accra. The Restaurant Manager will play a crucial role in not only ensuring operational excellence but also driving client acquisition and managing client relationships to create a loyal customer base. This position requires a hands-on leader with a passion for hospitality, execution, customer engagement, and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Restaurant Setup and Launch:
Collaborate with the CEO and other stakeholders to establish operational policies, procedures, and standards.
Assist in finalizing the restaurant layout, sourcing equipment, and managing suppliers to ensure a successful opening.
Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
Develop and execute strategies to attract and retain clients, including high-profile customers and corporate accounts.
Cultivate relationships with clients, handling inquiries and special requests to ensure a personalized experience.
Maintain a database of regular clients, creating loyalty programs and targeted promotions to encourage repeat business.
Operations Management:
Oversee daily operations, including managing inventory, supervising kitchen and dining room staff, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Implement operational improvements to enhance customer experience and service efficiency.
Financial Oversight:
Prepare and manage budgets, track expenses, and control costs to achieve financial targets.
Analyze sales reports and other key performance indicators (KPIs) to make data-driven decisions.
Team Leadership and Development:
Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team of kitchen and wait staff.
Foster a positive work environment by motivating team members and providing continuous training and support.
Customer Service Excellence:
Ensure top-tier service by actively engaging with customers, addressing feedback, and resolving issues promptly.
Monitor and uphold quality standards for food, service, and ambiance.
Marketing and Community Engagement:
Develop and implement promotional strategies to attract new clients, working closely with the marketing team.
Build relationships within the local community to strengthen the restaurant’s brand and reputation.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role in the food and beverage industry.
• Proven track record in managing restaurant operations, client acquisition, financials, and team leadership.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant management software, POS systems, and inventory management.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-focused approach.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
