Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and technically inclined individual to join our IT team as an entry-level IT Support Officer. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the functionality of our IT systems by providing basic troubleshooting for network issues, devices, application testing, enforcing IT policies, and assisting with a range of general IT tasks. What will you do?
Assist in diagnosing and resolving basic network-related problems by collaborating with senior IT staff, and providing guidance to end-users.
Provide technical assistance for hardware and software-related issues, including installations, upgrades, and replacements.
Assist in enforcing IT policies related to managing user accounts, permissions, and access to IT resources.
Participate in testing new app updates for compatibility and functionality, and documenting bugs encountered during testing.
Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date IT documentation and inventory.
Provide support for audio-visual equipment setup and troubleshooting during meetings and presentations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address IT-related challenges and improvements.
Qualification and Requirements:
BSc in IT related subject (relevant working experience is a plus).
Strong interest in IT and technology with a willingness to learn.
Basic understanding of information security, networking concepts and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with common operating systems (Windows, macOS) and office productivity software (MS Office Suite/Google productivity Suite).
Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with end-users.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
