Job Description

Role Purpose
To support the maintenance and operations of Vodafone Ghana’s Prepaid billing system, provisioning (eSM) and mediation system (UMF)

Role Responsibility
Ensure accurate rating and charging of all prepaid transactions using the Surepay OCS
Manage and maintain the MCAS, eSM and UMF systems to ensure all prepaid customers can successfully perform voice, data, SMS and bundle purchase transactions
Troubleshoot prepaid customer complaints and provide 2nd level support to issues resolution
Support with testing and implementation of new prepaid tariffs on the live platforms
Configure new rules and flows on the UMF and iCDR systems
Undertake other responsibilities as assigned by Line Manager

Professional / Technical Competencies
Degree in Electrical/Electronic, Telecom, Computer Engineering or Information Technology
Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience in the mobile, fixed, IP and data networks and must be able to work under pressure
Use of software tools and practical knowledge of incident and change management tools and standards.
Competence in Unix ,TCP/IP, Traffic Engineering, Programming (in at least one of Java, C# or Perl), SS7/SIGTRAN, Database Management and Operations, Diameter, Radius protocols
