Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Master Carpenter role located in Accra. The Master Carpenter will be responsible for carrying out day-to-day carpentry tasks including power tool usage, framing, hand tool usage, and finish carpentry. The successful candidate will lead and train a team of carpenters to ensure timely and high-quality completion of projects.

Qualifications

Carpentry and framing skills
Experience with hand tools and power tools
Finish Carpentry skills
Experience leading and training a team of carpenters
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment
Diploma or certificate in carpentry or related field is preferred

It is important that the candidate pays attention to detail and is passionate about their work. Experience working in a furniture manufacturing firm or construction company will also be beneficial.
