Job Description

AmaliTech seeks a passionate IT Infrastructure & Operations Analyst to join our team to ensure the smooth operation, reliability, and scalability of our IT systems and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure a solid understanding of IT operations, systems, and network management, with a strong focus on ensuring optimal performance and security across all platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Manage technology services that meet daily operational requirements in AmaliTech-designated area(s)
Installs and configures computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
Configure, Set-up, and Install networks based on Cisco and Sophos Technologies
Monitor computer networks for security issues
Install security measures and operate software to protect systems and information infrastructure, including firewalls and data encryption programs
Maintaining user and office machines, laptops, desktops, printers, and others
Setting up and maintenance of conference and communication devices
Monitoring, responding to, and addressing IT-related issues as it is raised in company incidentmanagement systems and help desk
Set up all hardware (laptops, desktops, servers, printers, monitors), operating systems, and user applications
Stay up to date on information technology trends and security standards
Provide IT support for MacOS, Linux and Windows systems
Interpret and assist backup as well as recovery processes along with industry standards
Conduct installation, migration, and upgrade of entire technology systems in a validated atmosphere
Perform within change control and ticketing system environment
Assist with the tagging of all IT-related assets
Commitment to continuously learn, quickly adapt, and grow
Perform any other related duties that may be assigned to me by my superior as and when demanded.

Qualifications

HND or bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure and operations, focusing on systems, network, and/or data center management
Proficient in managing MacOS, Windows and Linux server environments, including deployment, administration, and troubleshooting
Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware, including familiarity with protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and firewall configurations
Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
Knowledge of IT security practices and solutions, including endpoint security, intrusion detection systems, and secure network architectures
Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery processes and solutions
Ability to monitor and diagnose IT infrastructure issues using various tools and techniques
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically about complex issues and develop effective solutions
Strong organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working collaboratively in a team environment and interacting effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
