Farm Manager

Job Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Farm Manager based in Sekondi-Takoradi. The Farm Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily farming operations, managing irrigation systems, ensuring proper farm management techniques, and overseeing vegetable and animal farming activities. The Farm Manager will also be responsible for implementing and maintaining best practices for agriculture and farms.

Qualifications

-Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Animal Science, or a related field (preferred).

-Proven experience as a Farm Manager or in a similar role.

-Strong knowledge of crop and livestock management.

-Excellent leadership and communication skills.

-Ability to work long hours and handle physically demanding tasks.

Working Conditions:

-Full-time position with the possibility of weekend and holiday work.

-Work is primarily outdoors, often in varying weather conditions

– Onsite residence.

Physical fitness is necessary due to the nature of farm work.
