Montessori Teacher

Job Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Montessori Teacher located in Weija-Gbawe Municipal District. The Montessori Teacher will be responsible for creating a nurturing, stimulating, and child-centered environment that promotes the development of the whole child, while maintaining clear and consistent expectations for behavior and academic progress. The Montessori Teacher will also observe and record the progress of each child, and work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to ensure the success of the program and the development of each child.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
Montessori certification or equivalent experience
Strong understanding and application of Montessori philosophy and principles
Demonstrated ability to create a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of children, families, and colleagues
