The successful candidate will assign technicians to tasks ensuring productivity is maximized and deadlines are adhered to.
· Liaise with Service Advisors and Coordinator to prepare plan for the work to be done each day in advance,
· Allocate work to technicians ensuring work standards and time scales are always achieved.
· Ensure all work is completed in the allocated time to achieve high productivity within the workshop.
· Liaise with Service Advisors when repairs cost or time are likely to take longer than previously agreed, ensuring the Service Advisors are kept up to date at all times about their vehicles.
· Report and seek advice on additional problems found whilst work is being conducted so that these may be overcome, and the customer kept informed where delays result.
· Liaise with the Service Advisors and part team to prepare cost and time estimates for additional problems found on vehicles being worked on.
· Quality checking, ordering of parts, audits and compliance with all health and safety regulations.
· Actively coach and develop the service team to increase individual competencies
· Assists in troubleshooting and problem solving.
· Performs any other work related that may be assigned by the company.
