Job Description
JOB PURPOSE
In this role, you will be responsible for providing a smooth User experience by ensuring that products are categorised correctly on our Website, enabling the Customer to find the relevant product quickly thus maximising conversion.
Within the Decathlon Ghana E-commerce team, your goal will be to ensure that all web pages are effectively merchandised, identifying best sellers, key trends and stories so as to gain visibility and optimize performance.
You will work closely with the E-commerce team, Communications team, Retail Store teams and occasionally with our International teams, both technical and functional.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Website Content
To manage all pages across all websites, ensuring that all products are displayed in the right way, making it easy for the customer to discover and desire.
To provide a smooth user experience by ensuring that products are categorised correctly, enabling the customer to find the relevant product quickly; maximising conversion
To ensure that all pages are effectively merchandised, identifying best sellers, key trends & stories.
Work together with the Sports Squads to implement the sports and campaign strategy online
Identify commercial opportunities to improve AOV and Conversion across the site and implement
Analysis and Research
Monitor and analyse the performance of the actions that you put in place, set up weekly reports, capturing relevant KPI data and feedback to your Sports Squad/Campaign team
Monitor the market & fully understand trends, gaps and opportunities in order to optimise listings, increase traffic and improve conversion.
Provide feedback and insight for UX and UI based on customer feedback as well as shopping the Decathlon UK, Decathlon United Countries and competitor sites – identifying potential tests and improvements
Project Management
To be able to manage a project through your technical/sport level expertise
To communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Demonstrate critical thinking and problem solving skills
Manage risks to the website, operations, communications and the customer
Schedule and time manage your project events as well as being able to prioritise and negotiate timelines/roadmaps

Prior E-commerce and/or Web Merchandising experience preferred
Basic HTML skills a bonus

Training Location: Accra, Ghana
Monthly Salary: Competitive
Provident Fund: 10% of salary (company contribution)
Monthly Performance Bonuses: 0 – 30% of salary (in link with monthly set targets)
