About the job
We are recruiting for the position of MANAGER – SALES. Interested employees are encouraged to apply.

The role reports directly to the GENERAL MANAGER.

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY:
Required to work closely with the marketing unit and convert the leads generated into sales in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.

Your duties would include (but are not limited to) as outlined below;

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Setting sales targets for the Sales team and deploying strategies to achieve them.
Achieving sales growth and effectively managing the sales team
Designing and implementing a strategic sales plan that propels the achievement of sales objectives and improves the company’s market share.
Setting objectives, coaching, performance monitoring, and appraisal of the sales team
Maximizing the potential of the sales team by providing the necessary logistics and motivation
Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
Preparing sales targets and forecasts for management’s decision-making
Identifying emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
Undertaking corporate presentations and prospecting
Developing and successfully implementing the annual sales operation plan that meets company objectives
Liaising with the Marketing Unit to develop and run frequent, timely events and promotions.
Monitor sales pipelines to ensure closure.
Ensuring documentation is completed during all sales processes and in compliance with the instituted Sales policy.
Ensuring the sales team adheres to the company’s sales policy

REQUIREMENTS:

Degree in Sales and Marketing or a related field.
A Master’s Degree will be an added advantage
Seven (7)+ years relevant experience
Membership of or affiliation with a relevant professional body is desirable
Digital Marketing knowledge will be an added advantage
Real Estate or Construction Industry experience is desirable
Experience in PowerPoint Presentations, Excel, and Microsoft Office Tools.
Strong presentational skill is essential.
Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills
Experience using CRM to manage the sales process and forecast sales
Strong analytical skills to identify trends and sales patterns
