Key Responsibilities:
– Assist in the development and implementation of mechanical strategies and plans for our products, ensuring they meet performance, reliability, and sales targets.
– Participate and provide technical expertise and guidance.
– Contribute to the continuous improvement of business processes and services. Must have critical thinking and strategic abilities.
– Stay current with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in mechanical engineering.
– Participate in the planning and negotiations with role players and arrive at a win-win situation in the best interest of the organization and negotiating party.
– Interface with Managers and staff at all levels of the organization.
Qualifications:
– BSc in Mechanical or a related field.
– HND in Mechanical Engineering.
Requirements:
– Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, including statics, dynamics and thermodynamics.
– Exposure to mining, construction or any manufacturing field where it is desirable.
– Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.
– Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and present technical information clearly and concisely.
– Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and deliver high-quality results on time.
– Customer Service and Team orientation abilities, highly required.
– A computer literate especially with Ms Office Suite and the Internet.
– Ability to be firm and maintain confidentiality at all times in dealing with situations.
