Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Dispatcher at Equity Health Insurance. The Dispatch Rider will be responsible for carrying out day-to-day tasks including delivering documents, packages, and other items to assigned locations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery. The role also involves maintaining accurate records of deliveries, adhering to road safety rules and regulations, and providing excellent customer service to clients.

Responsibilities:
Ensure the prompt and efficient delivery of documents, packages, and other items to assigned locations within specified time frames.
Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, including delivery times, recipient signatures, and any issues encountered during the delivery process.
Adhere to all road safety rules and regulations to ensure personal and public safety during deliveries.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients, addressing their concerns, and ensuring a positive delivery experience.
Plan and follow the most efficient routes to minimize delivery time and fuel consumption.
Regularly check and maintain the motorcycle to ensure it is in good working condition, reporting any issues promptly
Handle sensitive and confidential documents with care, ensuring their secure and intact delivery.
Collaborate with the dispatch team and other colleagues to coordinate deliveries and handle urgent tasks as needed.
Address and resolve any delivery-related issues or discrepancies promptly and professionally.
Provide regular feedback and reports to management regarding delivery operations and any challenges encountered.

Qualifications
Valid driving license
Experience as a Dispatch Rider or in a similar role
Good knowledge of road safety rules and regulations
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively under pressure
Familiarity with Accra’s road networks and traffic patterns
Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or overtime as needed.
