Job Description
A receptionist at our hotel plays a crucial role in creating a positive first impression and ensuring smooth operations.
Responsibilities
Welcome guests upon arrival and ensure they feel valued and cared for.
Assist guests with the check-in and check-out process, ensuring all necessary information is collected and recorded.
Provide guests with information about the hotel’s facilities, services, and local attractions.
Handle administrative duties such as maintaining guest records, processing payments, and creating invoices.
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure rooms are ready and any issues are promptly addressed.
Gather and address guest feedback to improve service quality and resolve issues promptly.
Qualification
A diploma or degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred.
Previous experience in a customer service role or front desk position, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including night shifts, as needed.
