What You Will Do?

In this role, you will be the first Product Manager based in our Ghana office, working closely with Fido’s Product team in Israel to align local needs with our global product strategy.

You will own and enhance internal platforms that drive our business (e.g. operations dashboards, financial tools, customer support systems), ensuring they are efficient and meet the needs of various departments.

This position requires a proactive and adaptable leader who can collaborate across teams, gather user (and internal stakeholder) feedback, and translate it into impactful product improvements.

Who You Are?

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to join our team in Ghana and spearhead product initiatives focused on internal tools. As a Product Manager at Fido, you will drive the development and optimization of internal platforms, ensuring they meet the needs of teams across the organization, including Operations, Risk, Customer Support, and more.

Qualifications

Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager, with a proven track record of working on technology products from concept to launch.
User-Centric Approach: Hands-on experience conducting user interviews, usability testing, and gathering customer feedback, then translating those insights into product improvements and new features.
Product Documentation: Strong skills in writing and maintaining clear Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), user stories, flow diagrams, and other documentation for both internal and external products. Attention to detail in specifying functional requirements and edge cases.
Analytical & Data Skills: Ability to analyze data and metrics to inform product decisions and measure success.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Organizational Skills: Strong project management abilities – capable of juggling multiple priorities and projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile startup environment and adapting to changing priorities.
Team Collaboration: A collaborative team player who can work across departments and cultures.

Preferred Qualifications

Industry Experience: Prior experience in the financial services or fintech industry (e.g. digital banking, lending, microfinance, payments).
Technical Background: Previous technical experience or education (such as software engineering, computer science, or data analysis).
Internal Tools Expertise: Experience managing internal platforms or enterprise tools (for example, CRM systems, operational dashboards, or analytics tools).
