Job Description

The purpose of this role is to identify key untapped channels, build strategic partnerships and incubate them for accelerated growth. This will involve partnership around devices, Active Data Subscribers (ADS) or new opportunities in other verticals.

Key Tasks

Strategic Leadership and Growth Initiatives:

Coordinate digital and customer experience for Device and Active Data Subscribers (ADS).
Coordinate new partnerships and maintain engagement with the Device Ecosystem.
Coordinate the Asset Light Programme to support the launch of an “entry-level device,” targeting peri-urban and rural areas.

Device and Data Market Expansion:

Support field teams in executing the “Accelerated Telco Market” channels and touchpoints with a clear youth engagement plan.
Coordinate innovative solutions that create significant opportunities for all players in the ecosystem.
Coordinate groundbreaking device initiatives and programs addressing the needs of youth.
Drive device expansion beyond smartphones into the Internet of Things (IoT).

Digital Services and Channel Development:

Explore digital services that appeal to the young-at-heart and use devices as a catalyst for digital acquisition that includes device financing
Coordinate innovative initiative that builds a mobile and digital-first Sales & Distribution culture.
Support digital Go-to-Market campaigns to increase commercial revenues for MTN.
Support activities of field teams to ensure quality within our touchpoints & channels.

Education:

A First Degree in Marketing or a related field

Experience:

3 years relevant work experience in a Sales environment

Professional/ Technical Knowledge:

Product Knowledge

Digital transformation Knowledge

Digital Sales Process and automation

Sales Tracking and Reporting

Information gathering and analysis

Microsoft Office Suite

Internal Software applications
