Job Description

Key Tasks:

Conduct primary research (surveys, interviews, focus groups) and secondary research (data mining, trend analysis) to collect relevant market data.
Analyze competitive market strategies by examining the trends, products, and services offered by competitors.
Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing research findings, including graphs, charts, and data visualizations.
Translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations for the business.
Monitor and forecast marketing and sales trends in the telecommunications industry.
Provide insights into market opportunities and risks by analyzing industry trends, regulatory environments, and technological advancements.
Work closely with the Marketing team, and other functions within the business to understand their needs and provide data-driven solutions and insights.
Collaborate with external research agencies to ensure the accuracy and relevance of third-party research.
Manage research projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and meet the required standards.
Stay updated on the latest tools, techniques, and technologies in market research and data analysis.
Recommend improvements to the company’s data collection and analysis processes

Education:

A Bachelor’s Degree in Business/ Marketing/ Social Sciences/ Statistics or research related field of study

Experience:

3 years experience in Market Research.

Knowledge/ Technical Competencies:

Strong foundation in quantitative research methods
Proficiency in visualization tools e.g. Tableau or Power BI
Analytical skills
Data management and analysis
Knowledge in analytical and Statistical software e.g. SQL, Python, R, SpSS, Advanced Excel
