About This Role:
To supervise the work of the receiving officers, dispatchers, the issuing of items to end-users, daily cycle counts and storage of items, warranty and repairs. Coordinate the Vendor Held Stock (VHS) reconciliation on a monthly basis.

In This Role You will:
Collaboration
Facilitate transparent communications between site(s), logistics, inventory planning and the sourcing and procurement group and suppliers, to ensure alignment and understanding of receiving and distribution performance measurements, requirements and outputs.
Coordinate with the Freight Forwarder to ensure accurate documentation and scheduling of deliveries to site.
Ensure all deliveries to site are pre-booked to enable proper planning for vehicle inspection at the gate if required.
Warehouse Operations
Coordinate the cycle counts in the warehouse.
Coordinate and administer the shipping and receiving functions between all operational locations and departments.
Manage the request for lifting equipment.
Liaise with the Procurement team on discrepancies.
Deal with warranty and repairs issues with end-users and suppliers.
Manage regulatory requirements affecting the warehouses.
Oversee and coordinate all incoming and outgoing stock, making sure that all stock is accurately and efficiently counted, documented, loaded / unloaded and stored correctly.
Oversee the health of item held in stock.
Safety, Health and Environment
Ensure all warehouse operations are in compliance with safety requirements promoting the company’s safety culture.
Ensure a clean and tidy workspace is kept at all times.
Reporting
Prepare reports on materials, supplies, equipment, availability, storage space, and relocation of material.
Reports on any safety risks and issues.
Generate the SAP stock reports.
Report on the stock counts discrepancies.
Staff Supervision
Lead, schedule, and instruct warehouse personnel to perform proper work techniques and procedures in support of the warehousing strategy.
Supervise the warehouse personnel to ensure that short and long-range goals are accomplished within the parameters of company and departmental policies.
Working Conditions
The position is located at the Ahafo North mine site.

Formal Qualification (including Professional Registrations):
Diploma in Business Studies (Warehouse / Inventory Management).
Additional Knowledge:
Knowledge of Maintenance Planning.

Experience:
Minimum of 3 years working experience in warehouse operation, with 1-2 years supervisory experience.
