Job Description

Carry out setting on seamers to ensure standards are met.
Carry out trouble shooting on fillers and seamers to ensure optimum performance.
Routine checks on cans during production.
Carry out Change over as per production plan.
Maintain various records and reports log sheet.
Assist in the smooth running of the line.
Maintain site tidiness and general good housekeeping.
Ensure compliance with Health and Safety procedures.
Responsible for training of personnel on autonomous maintenance.
Ensure commitment to Food Safety and Food Quality.
Ensure production volumes are achieved as per targets set.
Ensure all cans produced meet the required set standards.

Education and/or Experience:

Minimum HND in Mechanical engineering

Knowledge & Skills

Good knowledge on Seaming and filling Machines.
Good knowledge in can quality terminologies
Good in identifying can quality defect and resolving it.
Interpersonal communication skills to include verbal and written, active listening, critical thinking, persuasiveness, advising and counseling skills.
Solid skills to quickly evaluate complex issues and identify solution.
