Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Specialist to join our team. As a specialist in point-of-sale (POS) devices, you will be responsible for identifying, approaching, and acquiring new offline merchants to expand our network. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the POS industry, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a proven track record of successfully acquiring merchants.
Responsibilities:
Market Analysis:
Conduct thorough market research to identify potential offline merchant segments and opportunities for POS device acquisition.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies in the POS space.
Prospecting:
Identify and target potential offline merchants through various channels such as cold calling, networking events, and strategic partnerships.
Develop a comprehensive prospect list and prioritize leads based on potential value and strategic fit.
Presentation and Communication:
Effectively communicate the features and benefits of our POS devices to potential merchants.
Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value proposition of our solutions.
Negotiation and Closing:
Lead negotiations with potential merchants to secure favorable terms and agreements.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal and finance teams, to finalize contracts and agreements.
Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Provide ongoing support and act as a liaison between merchants and internal teams.
Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare regular reports on acquisition progress, key performance indicators, and market insights.
Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance acquisition effectiveness.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
A minimum of 4 years of proven experience in merchant acquisition, preferably in the POS industry.
Strong understanding of POS devices and related technologies.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with various POS software and systems.
Knowledge of payment processing and related regulations.
Experience with CRM software for lead tracking and management.
