Job Overview

We are seeking an Applications Analysts to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a keen understanding of various application interfaces, with a particular emphasis on APIs, and demonstrate an ability to write code.

Key Accountabilities

1. Analyze and interpret application requirements, ensuring that business needs are met with appropriate technology solutions.

2. Interface with APIs, understanding their structure, capabilities, and integration potential.

3. Write, test, and debug code for application enhancements and integrations.

4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment and functioning of applications.

5. Document technical specifications, procedures, and other relevant information for internal and external stakeholders.

6. Provide technical support for application issues, troubleshooting, and resolving them in a timely manner.

7. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in application analysis and development.

Person Specifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

2. Previous experience as an Applications Analyst or in a similar role will be an advantage.

3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

4. Proficiency in programming languages, databases, and relevant software tools.

5. Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).

6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

8. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
