Job Summary
The position of Finance Manager consists of market surveys, analyzing financial information, purchases and preparing financial reports, keeping accurate records, and reconciling budget and expenses within the company. The Finance Manager shall take care of the financial bookkeeping for both nonprofit and for-profit records of Prebbie Group, including recording transactions, payments, and expenses and processing invoices. They shall also send out bills and invoices, follow up on overdue payments, and ensure that invoices and payments are reconciled.

Reporting
The Finance Manager shall report directly to the CEO of PREBBiE Group.
Responsibilities
Assist PREBBiE Group with general accounting.
Assist senior management team with financial plans and economic modeling.
Assist in the administration of payroll.
Initiate, control, and supervise all financial transactions of all the subsidiary organizations under the group.
Keep and maintain the company’s assets register.
Undertake monthly age analysis of debtors and creditors.
Ensuring timely periodic reporting to senior management & and regulatory bodies.
Assists with the preparations and filing of corporate income tax returns and ensures compliance with payment, reporting, and other tax requirements.
File monthly VAT, PAYE, SSNIT, and Withholding Tax returns and keep soft copies of all payments and receipts using accounting software and Odoo.
Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenue, financial commitments, and obligations and provide advice.
Manage and develop a strong finance team and establish team performance standards.
Liaise with Auditors, Bank Officials, and Government Agencies to execute financial regulatory activities efficiently.
Maintain detailed, accurate, up-to-date budget information for each project and general financial operations to inform decision-making by C-Level Staff.
Represent the individual subsidiaries to Banks and other Financial Institutions to obtain financial instruments, insurance, and other financial tools for the smoother operations of each subsidiary.
Conduct market surveys, gather invoices, select the best offer, and make a request to the CEO for approval.
Prepare cheques for the release of funds for the project and operational activities.
Receive financial statements quarterly for all subsidiaries’ accounts from the bank(s) and reconcile all deposits and withdrawals.
Work closely with the auditor by assembling and providing all necessary financial documents and information for auditing.
Prepare financial statements when needed for the Ghana Revenue Authority, and others for all the subsidiaries.
Collaborate with Executive Management & and TLs to review and manage the operational budgets of the company.
Suggest and identify cost-saving opportunities and accounting efficiencies.
Mentor and coach finance staff on financial accounting and compliance policies.
Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Provide strategic financial recommendations to senior management to assist in long-term financial planning and investment decisions.
Perform any other financial-related tasks as assigned by the CEO.
Qualifications
MBA (Finance or Accounting Option) with a minimum of 5 years working experience.
ICAG or ACCA qualification or its equivalent.
Must have been in a managerial position in the last 2 years.
Must be conversant with the application of International Financial Reporting Standards for Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (IFRS for SMEs).
Must have non-profit accounting understanding and practices
Must be able to use Accounting Software such as Pastel, ECAPS, and Google Drive Suite (Docs, Sheets, and Slides)
Competence with Odoo ERP is welcomed.
