Job Description
Our multinational client who provides a diverse range of decorative products requires an experienced Marketing Manager to join their team. Reporting to the Country Director you will primarily be responsible for developing and executing creative marketing strategies that drive brand awareness and conducting thorough market research to identify local market opportunities and trends to achieve business objectives.
Responsibilities;
Develop, manage and monitor marketing budgets to ensure efficient allocation of resources.
Communicate marketing strategies and results to senior management and stakeholders.
Develop and execute comprehensive and creative marketing plans aligned with business objectives.
Develop strategies and tactics to promote the company and attract qualified traffic to the business.
Liaise with external vendors to execute promotional events and campaigns and manage relationships with vendors, agencies, and partners to support marketing initiatives.
Benchmark, study, analyze consumer behaviour and adjust email and advertising campaigns.
Stay informed about digital marketing trends and best practices to boost marketing efforts.
Analyze and report on marketing campaign performance, derive insights and compare outcomes to set goals.
Assist outbound and inbound marketing activities by showcasing expertise in areas such as content development and optimization, advertising, and event planning.
Create and manage marketing campaigns across various channels such as social media, email, TV, and traditional marketing.
Coordinate with marketing, product teams and other professionals to ensure brand awareness, effective product launches, promotions and conducting an annual notoriety study.
Conducting market research to ascertain consumer requirements, habits and trends.
Implementation of trade marketing operations.
Lead and mentor marketing professionals by providing guidance and support.
Analyze marketing data and KPIs (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic, etc.) to measure campaign performance and ROI.
Requirement
Must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Must have at least five (5) years of extensive working experience in the same or similar role.
Industry experience in Retail and Digital Marketing specifically products is an added advantage.
Proficient in using digital tools and managing various social media platforms.
Extensive experience with local market segments and advertising methodologies.
Proven track record of managing marketing processes and operations.
Ability to develop long-term and develop strategic marketing plans.
Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
