Job Description
Job Purpose:
To oversee financial planning, budgeting , forecasting and financial reporting for the business, ensuring complies with rule & process to maximize financial health and secure a stable financial condition through cross checking and inspection.
Key Responsibilities
[Accounts receivable management] Understand receivables related tasks like account master management, credit check, credit line and security management, receivable matching, etc. Perform tasks according to processes.
[Fixed asset] Perform account book management tasks like asset acquisition, change management (transfer, sell, disuse), depreciation, and inventory, etc. by deciding whether it is profit expenditure or capital expenditure based on an investment plan.
[Accounts payable payment] Understand the payment standard and process. Manage a contract, verify, and propose payment.
Prepare monthly and periodic accrual/provisions for expenses such as Bonus, CIT, chargeback for Expatriates, commission etc.
Prepare monthly and annual expense forecast for the branch.
Prepare monthly expense report and analyse the variance when compare with forecast.
Review and approve staff Biz Trip request, Settlement and claim.
Prepare branch annual financial report and file return with regulatory body.
Conduct financial health check for the branch twice a year.
Review and approval of all MDF posting on SAP/NERP.
Ensuring that SEWA complies to all tax law and remittances are made as and when due.
Daily report on bank balance.
Any other job assigned by the MD/CFO.

Knowledge; Skills and Experience required for this Role
Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in Finance
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
Professional Certifications (CIMA, CFA, CPA, ACCA) preferred.
Sound knowledge on Ghana Tax and Pension Laws.
Proven record in Financial Management
Experienced Professional with full understanding on specialized areas; resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways
Proficiency in Financial software (e.g. Excel, ERP system)
Strong analytical and problem-solving Skills
