Social Ghana is a creative agency with a focus on social media and digital, based in Accra. We manage brands’ social media platforms, plan their online strategy, handle their advertising and come up with creative ideas for digital campaigns and projects. We are experts in traditional marketing including radio, billboard, TV & radio scripts, animations and more! We come up with seasonal campaigns and create content including photography, images, gifs, and videos. We are the leaders in social media marketing in Ghana, and have a proven track record since 2013. Social Ghana’s clientele boasts of big and established brands, local and international.
Role Description
This is a full-time position located in Accra. We are looking for an enthusiastic Creative Director to lead our creative team at Social Ghana. The Creative Director will be responsible for conceptualizing and implementing creative strategies that align with our clients’ requirements and objectives. In this position, you will provide guidance to the creative team and oversee the day-to-day operations in relation to design, photography, video production, and copywriting. You will work closely with the account management team and directly with clients to arrive at the best possible creative solutions and ensure the timely delivery of the projects while maintaining quality standards.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in a creative agency, specifically in a leadership role
Demonstrated experience in leading creative teams and working with clients
Persuasive public speaking and presentation finesse
A savvy understanding of the client-business synergy within an agency context
Astute networking and negotiation capabilities
Deep expertise in brand development and multichannel marketing
Excellent knowledge of different media channels and related community behavior
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, and meet tight deadlines
Strong understanding of marketing campaigns and project management
Excellent communication, presentation skills, and interpersonal skills
Up to date with new design trends, digital technologies, and industry developments.
