Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor

Job Description

JOB SUMMARY : The Transport Manager is responsible for planning, directing, managing, coordinating and supervising the programs for acquisition, assignment, utilization, maintenance, repair, replacement and disposal of fleet vehicles.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

· Develops and administers vehicle/equipment asset management processes from procurement to disposition .
· Supervise drivers, formulate backup rotation mechanism and follow up inspection from time to time.
· Track fuel dispensation per kilometer.
· Ensuring the procurement of spare parts.
· Perform preventive maintenance of company trucks to reduce cost
· Maximize efficiency and minimize the cost of our tracking operations
· Formulate vehicle driving routes according to vehicle conditions to ensure vehicle operation and revenue
· Supervise the efficiency and quality of vehicle maintenance to reduce maintenance cost.
· Establish a safety inspection mechanism for vehicles, goods and drivers to reduce potential safety hazards.
· Regularly train drivers, maintenance workers and office personnel.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Preferably Male
• At least a Bachelor Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain or related field.
• 2-3 years work experience in Logistics Management
• Experience with Trailer Management
