Job Description

Role Purpose

The Strategy, Architecture & Business Analysis Manager will be responsible for and working with the Head of IT to ensure E2E architecture coherence, strategy guidelines, principles across domains and create an effective IT strategy, architecture, demand or business analysis and governance for GTCL synergized with Group Technology.

Role Responsibilities

Accountable for the development of the IT vision, strategy and long-term roadmaps aligned to business objectives
Lead the design, review, and validation of Digital, IT and Technology solutions ensuring alignment with architectural standards and meet business requirements
Assess new technologies and make recommendations for adoption based on strategic fit and technical feasibility.
Responsible for the alignment, planning, demand and management of all reporting and architecture functions to be carried out by the unit
Engage and work closely with business stakeholders to understand business requirements, translate them into technical specifications and solutions to create business value
Monitor and report on the progress and performance of IT & Digital projects, addressing any issues or risks that may arise
Promote collaboration between IT teams, software developers, infrastructure experts, Subject Matter Experts (SME), Operations teams, Technology teams and other relevant stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, influencing decision-making at all levels of the organization
Drive innovation by identifying opportunities to leverage emerging technologies. I.E cloud, data analytics, cloud, etc
Lead research and development efforts to explore new technologies and assess their potential impacts on the IT and technology landscape
Overall vision alignment and Core systems exposure to Digital Accelerator
Knowledge Management & Data Governance

Professional/Technical competencies

Strong understanding of strategy and architecture in the Telecom, IT and Mobile Financial Services industry
A minimum of 10 years experience in IT strategy, enterprise architecture, and technology management or leadership roles
Experience in leading a larger team with mix of skills (Rating, Charging, IN, Billing, Integrations, BSS/OSS, Digital, Cloud, Data Governance, Budgeting, Strategy, Operations Support)
BSc. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications or equivalent with a strong technological background
Project & Demand Management Qualification
Masters in related discipline and added professional qualifications are a plus
Should be able to lead multiple team members managing different cross domains
