Summary:

55 Thrones is seeking a highly-skilled, proactive and motivated Communication Manager to drive our communication efforts, and lead and manage a team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for visual storytelling, an excellent writer, a strategic and entrepreneurial mindset, and experience in effective team management. The Communication Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive communication strategies that enhance brand visibility, engage target audience, and drive business growth.

Communications Manager Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a team of creatives, digital professionals, and interns.
Develop and produce high-quality, informative, and engaging press releases, press kits, and related materials.
Ensure all messaging aligns with key business strategies for 55 Thrones and its clients.
Create content for social media, websites, newsletters, press releases, and other distribution channels.
Develop presentations, articles, reports, and informational materials.
Conduct or commission market research as needed.
Brainstorm, collaborate and co-create with teams to generate new ideas and strategies.
Coordinate with PR and Marketing teams to comply with budgets, deadlines, objectives, and schedules.
Develop and deliver systematic activity reports.
Plan, create, and oversee the design, content, and production of marketing materials.
Develop strategies for current and existing products, launches, and promotions.
Craft pitches and ideas for photo stories and documentaries for clients.
Identify media and press opportunities.
Lead and plan all copy and social media content.
Create and execute communication plans aligned with company goals.
Identify target audiences and tailor messages accordingly.
Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.

Communications Manager Requirements and Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, business, or a related field.
– Agency experience is a plus

– Five years of experience in communications, PR, or a related field.
– Proficiency with technologies and best practices for campaigns across multiple platforms.
– Excellent written, presentation and verbal communication skills.

– Strong copywriting and content creation skills.

– Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects and accounts daily.
– Work in a fast-paced client-oriented environment and manage time effectively.
– Initiative to develop new strategies and innovative ideas for social media.
– Excellent media relations skills.
– Ability to take leadership and accountability for a team.
