We are hiring a Business Development Associate to join our growing Business Development, Sales and Operations team. You will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding our customer base in the Ghanaian market.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or Masters in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or related roles, preferably within the B2B e-commerce industry.
Strong understanding of the Ghanaian market, business landscape, and customer behaviour.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with a passion for driving business growth.
Great planner with a strong ability to plan based on overall company targets.

As a Business Development Associate at Kola Market, you will:

Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, industry insights, and competitive landscape in the B2B e-commerce sector in Ghana.
Collaborate with senior management to set sales targets, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
Analyze market data and customer feedback to identify opportunities for business growth and product development.
Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
Manage the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation to client acquisition and onboarding, ensuring a seamless experience for new clients.
Manage a cluster of retailers to achieve activation and retention goals
Identify and prospect potential clients, including manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors, and other businesses, to onboard them onto the platform.
