Job Description
Scope
The Head of Business Development & Operations will primarily be responsible for prospecting for clients, generating leads, closing property deals, market research, sales, and managing day-to-day business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Develop policies and plans for the management of the company’s properties in accordance with sound estate management principles and under the general direction of the Chief Executive Officer.
Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing prospects and finding new potential areas for the company while managing and maintaining a pipeline of interested prospects.
Coordinate the closing of property deals to ensure vital documents are signed and payments received.
Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.
Write business proposals, and sales contracts while ensuring adherence to established rules and guidelines and negotiating with stakeholders.
Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
Responsible for the general administration and supervision of staff of the company while ensuring all operations are carried out appropriately.
Develops plans for acquisition and effective management of the company’s properties.
Manage budgets, forecasts, and assist in the recruitment of additional staff for projects.
Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices, etc.
Protects organizations value by keeping information confidential.
Define and follow up on yearly targets and objectives in consultation with the CEO.
Decide terms and conditions of service with customers.
Ensure maintenance and up-to-date information in Customer Relationship Management Systems.
Requirements
Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Business Management or related field.
Minimum three (3) years of experience in the same or similar role.
Experience in the Real Estate Industry is mandatory.
Must be proactive with a strong desire to make a significant contribution to a rapidly growing organization.
Must have a valid drivers license.
Excellent negotiation, market research, and client management skills.
Excellent organizational, presentation, communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, team playing, and time management skills.
Proficiency in using the Microsoft Office Software suite (i.e. MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
